These companies (nets) don,t need revenue or profit. All they need is
some good news. Okay, so total ad revenue will reach $6 Billion by
2002. How many ways does this pie get sliced? Is this really good news? Will YHOO's share of the pie justify today's valuation? And what is going to fuel all this? Consumers with disposable income. IMO, it appears as if the market is poised and ready to party down with anything that can be construed as good news. It is amusing when the market retreats and we hear things like "it's just taking a breather."
Is it that being at these levels is so exhausting or is the air just too thin? In reality, the dow has bashed it's head into the nine thousand neighborhood a few times this year, but it sure doesn't stick around too long.(see chart)
This expedition may go back to base camp to regroup.

IMO the general health of the economy will determine the net sector's success.
