PIR bouncing + news after the bell. PIR is down 25% in a week on flat same-store-sales, but said they will meet earnings which come out Friday. Bad news is out, good yet to come. Stock rebounded today in classic bullish style. Opened higher than yesterdays close, quickly moved up, breaking out above yesterdays high, and then pulled back no lower than the open. Volume at the close plus slight uptick to end at 8+5/8. News after the bell: Effective tomorrow PIR goes internet! Up till now its product views only. Tomorrow LYCOS starts selling Pier 1 goods on the net! Check out Yahoo PIR thread. Looking for a bounce in the A.M., minor pullback, then to head higher intraday. This one should be good for at least the 20-day MA at 9.5, and possible to 11+ where it was over past several weeks. Short-term MACD 3/7/4 went green today signalling buy for aggressive traders. In for 600 at 8+9/16. Looking for further confirmation in the A.M. action. Good luck to all.
