carmine I have gone the entire cycle over the last 2 years with the semi eqpt. Group mainly in order of investment KLIC,ASYT SFAM and IPEC. Oct.1 of 1997, I was up 97% for my entire portfolio including stock mutual funds and minimal cash, AWESOME. One of big winners by far was 30 KLIC Oct. 97 $25 calls purch on 5/10/97 for 8 ½ and sold on 9/27 for 23. I HAD PLACED A LIMIT ORDER TO SELL @ 30 WHEN THE BID WAS 30 BUT MISSED . Greed will get you every time. I HAVE NOT MADE A POST IN AT LEAST A YEAR because my 2 overly weighted sectors oil drillers and semi eqpt are 2 groups you did not want to talk about. I AGREE WITH YOUR MESSAGE TO MICHAEL THAT THE TRAIN IS LEAVING THE STATION AND IF YOU DO NOT BOARD NOW YOU WILL BE SORRY. My experience with KLIC HAS BEEN WHEN IT GOES UP IT IS A ROCKET, I EXPECT 60 TO 80 BY JUNE 99; HOWEVER WHEN IT COMES DOWN IT GOES TWICE AS FAST.I LEARNED MY LESSON IN 97-98 AND STRONGLY RECOMMEND ANYONE BUYING THIS STOCK PLACE AND CONTINUE TO MOVE UP A STOP LIMIT ORDER IBD RECMMENDS 7-8% I DON'T THINK THAT IS REASONABLE FOR THIS STOCK THAT MOVES 20 TO 30% in a tradING DAY I would really appreciate your advice on a stop limit percentage.
