michael, re ,Whats your take on the Ericy>3G announcement today?
Reminds me of one of my 35 week long (technical school) ordeals at the FAA's Technical Academy in Oklahoma City.
I would suddenly "wake up", and blurt out "What the heck page
are we on ?"
We can all question whether Ericy is truly offering an olive branch,
and/or they are covering up the fact that they can not get their
version of 3G to work with no guard bands ??
One thing though, that seems not to be discussed yet, is the so-called
solution by ARIB.
Like to see that discussed. I'm still wading through White Papers,
and some of the fine posts by people such as DaveMG.
FWIW -- my money is presently in neither Q or Ericy. I've
loaded up with Compaq, Ascend, Coms, and some Lucent.
I still like Ericy, but I'm trying to get some short term profits,
to finance things such as property taxes and a short winter vacation.
I then plan to get back into Ericy.
