David, Or they might not trade at all and save even more energy (as well as monetary and financial anguish). Which however will mean that the market will cease to be efficient. So traders perform a great social function as a group even when losing money (if you include spreads and commissions plus money value of time and effort) as a group. Your comments made me think more about the scientific feasibility or otherwise of popular TA techniques which was a learning experience. Sorry about the initial delay in replying as I had to go and read up about BBs and stochastics. Thank you. -Apratim.
