You can't avoid a domino affect continually sooner or later we will get hit. That doesn't mean that Asia will not get on her feet it just means that it is almost impossible for us to remain unscathed.
So your forcast is for goodearnings in january and a slow down in spring.

The gold forcast makes sense as does the speculation on the part of the Yen. At present there is no other currency that is world unit but US dollar. There is already additional pressure beign placed on the euro as as UK is sliding which also translates to additional pressure on UK for euro entry.
