We don't have links on our web site to A V, Yahoo!, etc. etc. and asking to make links will not result in them making any. It is assumed everyone knows how to get to [or who to ask for assistance getting to] Alta Vista and the others if they want.

Educational nodes are different than commercials. The only 'advertising' allowed [due to NSF regulations governing .edu nodes] is that of the institution itself.

No complaints on my part.
