James, The problem is, Alan The Printer is making the underlying causes of the imbalance worse with the actions he has taken to flood the world with easy dollars. Which means the crash may be postponed, but will be much bloodier than it had to be. As far as running out of funds goes, that is why I buy puts using 90/10 instead of shorting stock. I've never had a losing year with that system, but I have had some truly horrible quarters and even half years. But they were only horrible relative to the money I had at risk, which wasn't much on a percentage basis. And I was able to stay in the game until I caught the homerun ball in the groove. MB
