B, What a surprise that chip sales would go up as OEMs buy components for Xmas. <G> It only happens every year from Sept to the end of November. Nobody seems to mention that demand has already dropped as that seasonal game has ended. If you don't have your components by now, you don't make it to the stores by Xmas. And the crap the components went into is sitting in warehouses, forlorn and lonely.

Component floggers see the seasonal factors and boxmaker inventory stuffing as evidence of a secular bottom for the fourth Xmas season in a row. <G>
