RobertS, no one saying Lehman likes XOMA, or thinks the stock will perform well. Lehman appears to be in the lead in assisting in the change of domicile area. I do not have statistics on which other bankers are also in the running and which one has obtained the most clients. We, poster, negative and positive all reacted to this as something new, that only XOMA, among biotechs, was doing. Upon reading the prospectus I began to believe this was not a home grown XOMA idea but rather an idea developed at Lehman. I could be wrong. The idea could have originated at XOMA and they sought out Lehman to help them.
There are, IMO, few "new", financial restructuring, ideas that make a lot of sense. This concept is one that does. I have not seen you attack the concept. Your post deal with XOMA and other posters. Lehman deserves kudos and I for one hope they convince other companies in which I am interested to change domicile also. |
