I read the JAWZ investor package that I received in the mail yesterday:

I noticed several interesting tid bits:

The software demo agreement claims that if the software causes any problems with my computer or my business, that is just my fault for using the software.

The public relations firm that puts out the investor package seems to be owned by two employees of JAWZ. Maybe it is just a coincidence that the name of the firm includes parts of the names of two of the companies employees: Chell and McNeill. There is a disclaimer, however, that states in many more words that the investor relations firm may own the stock and may make a profit as a result of investor reactions to the the information.

There was a section that showed the performance of about five companies in the security software industries. These companies' stock prices, revenues, profits, and market capitalization were shown. I was left with the impression (one that I think the firm wanted me to have)that no matter whether or not the company was small, large, profitable or not profitable, the stock price was going to go up to some difficult to justify price. As if to imply that software security stocks are very much like internet stocks -- small or large, profitable or not you had better buy this stock before it is too late.

I think the investor relations firm did a great job.
