Wednesday December 9 11:50 AM ET Thieves Rob (Blood) Bank MOSCOW (Reuters) - Thieves robbed a blood bank in a remote Russian region, stealing blood and rabbits used for biological tests, Itar-Tass news agency reported. Police in Syktyvkar, capital of the northern Russian Komi region, were planning to search markets to make sure the rabbit meat -- which could be dangerous to eat -- was not offered for sale, Tass said. It was not clear why the thieves would have wanted to steal the blood, nor when the theft took place.
