Scott,

I too use the eBay site to sell and buy items and in the last three days have found some problems. in the past when they had outages they would extend the auctions that were involved, for 24 hrs. Many people want to know what they will do for the auctions that are current and not expiring during the outages. Potential buyers can't view the items while the site is down. From the Home Page you can click on News/Chat and then Announcements to read about the system problems and how they are handling them. The problem this morning seems to have tied up that service also. I too don't have a stock position either long or short yet believe that as soon as one of the wire services gets a hold of and writes a story about the current outage problems, the stock is vulnerable to taking a dive. It's interesting to note that the problems seem to stem from too much business. Echo's of AOL's problems a year or so ago? BTW, this is the longest I've seen them 'down'....
