SRCM produces another <yawn> nothing announcement from another software vendor. The net result? No new revenue, just another pathetic attempt at HYPE.

biz.yahoo.com

DIVA will attempt to sign deals with all of the EPG's (electronic program guides) like SRCM so that they have access to any of the cable operators the Interactive software companies might sign. I have spoken to high level managers at DIVA operations.

Expect DIVA to announce similar agreements with all of the other program guides. This deal does nothing for SRCM's bottom line, and gets them no closer to signing any cable operators which is the key to their success.

Since SRCM's software is not Java functional, has never been operational/tested/proven on a cable system I don't expect them to sign any new MSO agreements, particularly since AOL and WebTV are now in the cable internet/Cable interactive TV market.

Looks like just another weak attempt by SRCM to HYPE up its stock price.

All comments IMO

Cheers Steve
