The .INV file probably can only be opened by that creating program and I hope that you have it still otherwise there is no other option. If the files just lost their association what you need to do is highlight the file and while holding down the shift key, right-click on the file and a drop-down window will open up and then you choose open with. When the Dialog box opens choose the MS Inv. program or browse for it using the other option and make sure that you check the always use this program box.
