You can go have your substantive debate with JBL if you want, or the rest of the long-running Clinton haters. Politics isn't pretty, and the Jones-Starr interplay is about the least pretty politics I can think of. Whether Clinton could actually be convicted of perjury is not a given, no matter what you say. That doesn't seem to bother anybody on the honest discussion front, does it, K?

You think they should haul up Bill Gates on perjury? You think his deposition was somehow more honest than Clinton's? I think you got your eye on the prize, just like Starr and DeLay. That's fine, but I'd prefer you save the sanctimonious moral lecture for church. The papal knight seems to have been unimpressed by Elliot Abrams' perjury, but that was on matters of state, secret wars, people getting killed, nothing important like BJ's.
