Has anyone noticed this argument anywhere else? I had not ever thought about the Nixon resignation in this way, but it sounds plausible. A resignation would certainly cause enough emotional damage, with nearly two-thirds of the public against impeachment, to affect the markets. Up to this point I had figured Clinton would just gut it out. nw3.nai.net
