I don't think it will happen because I think the full house will vote
on impeachment BEFORE Jan 19th. I look for the vote before the END of this year. Then again IDKJS (g). I think he craves power too much too resign. I am sure they will be counting heads (votes) up until the last min. and if it look like the votes are there for impeachment he would have too fish or cut bait before the State of the union address.
