Greta - ahhh the waiter....he was adorable too....tall, dark curly hair, intense brown eyes...not that i was paying much attention to details :-) on a more cultural note...tomorrow we are going to the Vatican....we will see the tomb of St. Peter 23 feet beneath the floor of the church.....was just discovered and excavated in 1940...and we will see the treasures in St. Peter's Basilica...Michelangelo's Pieta is breathtakingly beautiful.....and then on to the Vatican Museum and the Sistine Chapel....and finally we will climb to Michelangelo's dome and be rewarded with a panoramic view of the Vatican and Rome...it is so cool up there....and then i guess more pasta and wine and gelati...
