I think your impression is correct regarding the First Boston report. After what has happened, I would imagine the First Boston report has been deep sixed.

I can't add anymore regarding the chipsets for the Nokia high-end handsets except that is what I heard is floating around. It would certainly make sense. If Nokia's handsets are flying out the door, it might very well need more ASIC's than it can produce.
