I'd say it's simply people stopping, and taking time to breathe ... News will move us forward soon enough, it's only a matter of time. Sigmund, I think your short argument is the most reasonable one I've heard, I agree. All bets are off with spectacular news such as a buyout or merger, but otherwise I think you got it right on.
