C-Cube's chips will be used in digital video camcorders. They won't be on the market til next year. C-Cube doesn't have a chip for just still pictures. DVD players that use C-Cube chips are not all available in the US this Christmas. You might try to buy one of these: Samsung's 905 and 927 models Zenith(made by LG) Acer(not out yet) Hitachi model DV-K2 Tatung(only in Tiawan) Marantz Aiwa(hits the US next year. Is in Japan today)
