Judy,
My comment about buying puts on FORE was in reference to the "something bigger" or implied acquisition of ANET and not the OEM agreement. The OEM agreement is just noise to me.

ANET now has OEM agreements with both LU and FORE and they have had a bit of a runup in the stock as a result. If FORE were to acquire ANET it would not be a marriage made in heaven or even purgatory for that matter. I believe that there would be an immediate sell off in FORE if it was announced, so I would probably miss the window for short term puts, with that in mind I would probably go 6 months out. It would not take very long for ANET to drag FORE down.

Meanwhile, I don't believe that there is an acquisition in the works for ANET (and I am holding puts on ANET). Both FORE and LU were in merger discussions with ANET last April/May and these fell apart. I believe that LU is simply looking for a product line "chink filler" voice FRAD solution and I think that FORE is doing anything it can to strengthen its hand.

All IMVHO,
JXM
