hi Mark, Nice to get a day like this once in a while. I was a buyer yesterday and today.

I want it clear to all readers that I am not an engineer nor am I a techie by any stretch of the imagination. However, I can make some statements based on past conversations and readings.

Cost efficiency is precisely the problem that confronts the industry today. "At the present time the only sources providing any quantities of specialty semi materials (i.e. CdTe, InAs) are doing so at extemely high prices and in very small and inconsistent quantities." This presents a tremendous opportunity for Galtech because they can produce these materials cheaper and better than anyone else in the world, provided, of course, that they eventually get their act together. I have previously listed the many uses for telluride and major vendors that have used Galtech's substrates before the fire. The marketplace for CdTe is estimated to be $30 million per year.

I agree that the two materials have 2 different applications. GaAs as you indicate is certainly a more mature market, yet not completely satisfied. The individual price is more competitive and not as high in profit as CdTe but has a much larger marketplace. galtech projects sales for 1998 as follows:

CdTe........10,000,000
InAs...........500,000
GaAs...........500,000

I welcome all opinions/criticisms and I hope for many as this company grows and prospers with time.
