Ron,, It is certain everyone is working on the problem. Many are finding little things being effected. Those little items can add up quickly. No gas could be a big problem for heating... today most furnaces do not have a pilot but start by an electric charge. Oil furnaces have been fired in that manner. Missing either fuel or electric can cause problems in the home for heating and cooking. Many that live in rural areas almost get used to power outages and can tell of how they are always prepared (pumps for their water are run by elec). No individual or business should be without a redieness and recovery plan considering all contingencies... the possible new alliances among like business in different areas could help considerably...
