Jesse, As they say also it takes all kinds to make a market be it good or bad.The responsibility of the investor is to do their wn DD and invest for their own reasons. have a plan and work the plan. I have found that shorters also are invaluable as they help to create the dips and longs are effective in pushing the stock along.The most important function iMHO is the proper and expediant delivery of news from the company in the most equitable form possible.In a perfect world everyone would get the news at exactly the same time but we know that is not the case.I think Average Joe knows this also if he has been in the business as he said. I find that some of the regulations put in place by securities people and exchanges are not done for our benefit but theirs and we are presented the same from them as being for the good of the individual investor.Not the case. I am in MMU and have been for some time for my reasons and mine alone.I feel that the dissemination of news by Marum is very equitable.If you want it e-mailed.Visit the site and register.There are no restrictions for anyone. I also appreciate the commentary provided by Monsieur Boulay et Le Compagnie...(sorry slipped off there)..... are very useful and he is complying with the rules of the exchanges in the method he is utilizing.I have found that smart business people use rules and regulations and policies to their advantage as opposed to avoiding conflict with the same.
