Final Consolidation of Pinhorn Diamond Property
in Southern Alberta

December 10, 1998 -- Marum Resources reports that it has
completed the final land consolidation of its Pinhorn diamond
exploration project, located in southern Alberta along the
Montana border. The area contains complex assemblages of
igneous rocks that are thought to be prospective for diamond.
The property, now expanded to 325,000 acres, captures the
axis of the Sweetgrass Arch as it cuts across the Archean-age
Hearne Craton, probably the oldest and most attractive craton
for diamond exploration in Alberta due to its age and thermal
history. All of the property, except for approximately one square
kilometre is now registered directly in Marum's name.

Marum and Roman Wall Corporation have agreed to enter into
a standard joint venture agreement to explore the Pinhorn
property. Roman Wall, a private corporation at arm's length
from Marum and its directors, currently holds a 50% net
interest in approximately 300,000 acres and a 15% net
interest in 25,000 acres of the Pinhorn property. Marum
currently holds a 50% net interest in approximately 300,000
acres and a 70% net interest in 25,000 acres.

With the rationalization of the land package complete, both
Marum and Roman Wall can now proceed to reinstate an
exploration program consisting of ground geophysics,
trenching and drilling.
