ASTM ipo'd in March '97 @ $7.00. Best volume day was late Sept '97--about 1.5M shares. We've never seen volume like this before, and the stock had languished over the last few months on low volume. We did 177 times average volume (41K) today. Better than GERN did on the day before it rocketed. I think anything below the IPO price is dirt cheap, given the fact that ASTM's technology is coming to market soon----in Europe first.
