ok, an unbiased opinion..i dont own NAVR, traded 1,000 shares in the early hype-days for a few bucks. have come to this thread almost every day in a sort of bewilderment, and my apologies to those here who are long and losing their shirt: but no one seems to consider the essential problem, which to me, is, what's the big %$#@& deal about RADIO??? ok, so you can get your favorite New Orleans jazz station when youre in paris or des moines, but how many people are going to be so thrilled to listen to the radio thru a computer? i think a lot of the basic problem here is many are wrapped up in IPO-mania without considering what the actual service, and its limitations, are...music through our very high-end home and car and office systems is a very varied and hi-quality experience, and IMO, this service lacks a need to be filled. i do hope many make money in NAVR, however, many others may want to consider the practical/demand side before investing or speculating in this, and in others that come along. markets have a way of figuring this stuff out, even against our fondest desires.... |
