KKRE Announces New Koo Koo Roo Restaurant Opening; New Valencia, CA Location Marks First Under New Management
IRVINE, Calif., Dec. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Koo Koo Roo Enterprises, Inc. (Nasdaq: KKRE), formerly known as Family Restaurants, Inc. announced today the opening of its first Koo Koo Roo restaurant in Valencia, California.
The new Koo Koo Roo restaurant store joins its sister KKRE restaurants -- El Torito and Hamburger Hamlet -- located in Valencia marking a continued commitment to development in the California market. "In recent years many of our daytime guests in the LA basin and surrounding areas have begun commuting from the growing Valencia area. We are optimistic that this area will remain a strong and growing market for KKRE, and it is our desire to continue to serve our guests in their home area with the food selections and service they have come to enjoy. Our investment in Valencia is the latest step in our California expansion plans.
