AMZN still have over a third of its float held short. Easily squeezed since this thing is a favorite of daytraders and moves on any type of news release. Every player knows this. Unwillingly new shorts keep getting sucked in.

I agree that growth drives the valuations of stocks, but AMZN's growth doesn't warrant an $11bln market cap. Additionally, I guess losses don't matter as well. This is my last post on AMZN, but would mind elaborating a bit on your last comment. I'm curious as why you said this? Shorts play a vital role in the market.
