I'm in a small town in Alaska and just aboard fnet the last week. Have had a little difficulty with the 800 number: All lines busy during the middle of the day (which is not fnet, but the phone traffic out of Alaska at peak times.) and had a couple of disconnects - one day only, that I beleive was becuase the calls were routed over the satellite. The satellite always has a lot of noise and a pause each direction. Other than that have never had better or faster service. It does work across lots of switches and long distances. I'm feel certain that fnet's nearest node is in the continnental US. (Outside)

To all the rest, you don't know what cool is ! But no complaints here, a couple of days ago it warmed up 70 degrees F. and its still below freezing. Heat waaaaave.
