Let's get things going here and trade some stories of higher-mileage vehicles. My 1986 VW Jetta currently has 355,000km (220,000 miles) on the original engine, which has never been apart except to change a few seals and gaskets (no it's NOT a Diesel). It still runs great and thrives on my daily abuse. Of course the hydraulic lifters have been quite shot for some time now....
