Clarence,

I agree with Spots. Its not well written but it is the official docs from MS and there are some utilities on the CD worth having. Its certainly not one stop shopping for NT learning but I still consider it required reference. The complaints about referencing books that are included with the NT 4 Server Resource Kit ($160) are true and numerous. A Friend at work let me borrow a Book Called Mastering NT Server 4 Fourth Edition. I imagine they have a workstation version. I liked this book due to a lot of text devoted to understanding Network Services and other minor details that all the other books I've seen on NT omit. Its still lacking in explanation of things WINS relay partners and the finer aspects of DHCP. It has a detailed discusion of groups and users and how the whole NT authenitcation model works. Most other books I've seen lack this detail. You might want to check it out... You can never have enough computer books... :)
