>> It is strictly for messages pertaining to DELL
Funny, I've been a SI member since 1995 and I never saw a statement outlining that; could you refer me to the appropriate Silicon Investor page?
>> all I am asking is that people keep this debate in E Mail where it belongs.
Not an unreasonable request, but it's not going to happen, Chris. This is a very social board that has brought together a pretty diverse group of people who have shared in the Dell wealth building process. It is a very noisy board, and many of us use the message list to determine which posts to open. Just wait until a good quarterly report or a run up when there are 400 posts a day containing nothing but "GO DELL" stuff.
>>I have DELL as my top holding
Well that speaks well for you; now let's work on your social skills <g>.
>>Unfortunately,IGNORANT people such as yourself want to have public debates about subjects that don't involve DELL
Ignorant people have debates about abstract issues.
>> If you have a problem with that, e mail me. I'm sure others don't want to read this garbage that has popped up on this board recently.
You're making rules up again, Chris. You (and I) are guests here, not Thread Monitors.
There's not a lot of technical insight to be gained from this thread, since Dell is a box maker, so I don't think social posts are a problem, particularly when the posters are polite enough to put OT in the first line. If you disagree, take it to the Webistress, or PM me so we can talk candidly offthread.
Good luck with your Dell investment, Frank |
