Re <<<I don't believe that the last earnings report was all bad, and as a matter of fact, the market reacted reasonably well to it.>>>

If you take a look, the price went from around $7 in the month ahead of earnings to less than $5 the day of the announcement. The market was pricing in earnings problems. Since the announcement, the stock has drifted lower to $4'ish. Poor reaction in my opinion.

Re <<<Any purchase of EPIE in the 12-15 range is a good purchase.>>>

I think if YF pays more than the current offer for EPIE they are paying too much. On what grounds do you determine fair price?? EPIE is hardly an outstanding company if you judge it based on past earnings growth. P/E is 265. Seems YF is paying a lot just for the brand names and shelf space that comes with the co.

Still, I don't want to sound too negative. If I listed what I like about YF it would triple the size of this post. I'm just saying what I think is holding me back from buying back in right now and I'm looking for some feedback. YF seems cheap but calling a bottom is very difficult on beat up stocks like this.
