Hi Fred You might want to check out Alan Abelson's "Up & Down Wallstreet" column this week, he quotes some oil guru named Bernie. Bernie suggests Burlington Resources, Tom Brown, Louis Dreyfus, Cabot Oil & Gas, Pogo, Apache, and Snyder. These are oil and gas companies with the emphasis on gas, not drillers. You should do your own research but this is a start. Regards Glennd
