I'm sure I posted once about a y2k scanner that was just a BAT file containing the line "DIR", but can't seem to find it....

Kevin, we here in the lab have perfected your BAT file idea. Here is v2:

DIR c:\*.exe/s > exefiles.txt

You can then view/print your list in notepad.

You can then e-mail that file to the FBN website where we've written a program that parses the file, compares each item to those in our 500,000 item FBN database, and automatically sends back to you a list of which files are non Y2K compliant followed by the URL to where you can get them updated.

Should we test-market FBN DIR 2000 now?
