From what I've seen, even with a rights plan in place, when a bid comes in, hostile or otherwise, the company normally gets sold within a year or less.

Personally, when I buy shares in a company, I generally do so because I wish to be an owner participating in that company's growth during the next several years at least.

Any time I've bought shares for a quick trading bounce, generally, I get a source of Capital Losses :-( to offset my capital Gains :-).

PRIA, IMO, is definitely one of my "hold for several years" companies.
