Certainly I don't think you're crazy for dollar-cost averaging in a company like MRK! Heck, there are people paying full-service brokers $100 or more a trade to get into companies like this! I just try to limit the charges like that $5 because we often send small amounts to six or seven companies every month, and that adds up to a big bite out of that money. If it works for you, that's what's important, IMHO! Rick
