Jeff, Actually this version of the database software is an embedded SQL program that without getting too deeply into trade secrets is conceptually similar to the following: (SELECT * FROM NON_COMPLIANT_PROGRAM_TBL) > response.mail The customer has total flexibility since it's up to them to match the response with the exefiles.txt. In fact, they don't need to send the text file at all, but doing so seems to increase their confidence in the system. The typical output is "(0) rows found", which seems to thrill most of our customers, instills confidence and lowers anxiety as they march forward to the next millennium. The only problems reported are from some pesky software reviewers, but they don't seem to want to pay for the software. Software reviewers seems to be a less profitable market then paying customers... Tom
