Labman,yes ABX may want ARP bad,but they do not pay top dollar for new properties.ABX has been built by acquiring good properties at favourable terms.Should ABX takeover ARP,then ABX will control a sizeable amount of the El Indio belt. Who can Barrick thank for that,how about Royal Oak Mines for putting Lac into play.Peter Munk has built a monster company,and when he wants something,he has the clout to get it.I hope that ARP shareholders get top dollar but I don't think they will.
