I can see where SI wants to prevent personal attacks on the thread by temporarily suspending those involved, However, the key is to be FAIR in their treatment of ALL posters. If the naysayers are allowed to post their personal attacks, and anyone else defending themselves would get suspended by SI, well, looks like SI is working on the same side as the naysayers. If I am correct, didn't we have this discussion regarding SI favoring the bashers several months ago??? If these people are not suspended along with bull, looks like SI is STILL favoring these people.
