Mahanagar Telephone Nigam (MTNL) will launch Internet services from January 26 as it has been issued a licence by the department of telecommunications (DoT). MTNL (category B licence) will become a private Internet service provider (ISP), and provide 50,000 connections each in Mumbai and Delhi.
