the members of congress have a duty to preform here.... we are after all a nation of laws.. not a nation governed by polls (which change like the wind). this entire sorted event will be over quickly in any case... its not like there are many disputed facts... a trial would be over within a week or two... the big push is to do it before January 20, 1999... if it cant be done before then.. look for it to die in the senate. THere is no constitutional basis for a censure... but an impeachment is the ultimate censure (even without removal). the hitory of the nation will list this president as the second president in our history to be impeached.. a political scarlett letter
