So right - over hyping a company doesn't do anyone any good for long. These small caps have to build up credibility - if that is shot down by someone making extravagant claims then the company's image will be damaged - sometimes despite whatever positive things are going on.

Here is my summation on GDER:

They are a small start-up situation stock that has moved beyond the concept stage and into product testing and field verification. Being in the start-up stage holds the possibility for large returns but also for a corresponding amount of risk. If the product testing and trials are indeed going as well as the company says they are, then there is high probability that they will secure production agreements in the near future. Getting one or more agreements in place with market leaders will greatly lessen the risk of the investment. This should cause the stock to move up significantly. However, if they fail to secure the production agreements within the next few months, then the stock will move down.

Much has been made of the fact that there are several competitors who are now in the market with well thought out product strategies. Let's face it, exciting markets attract competition. The market for verification and data security products will expand rapidly in the coming years. The greatest need is for easy to use, less obtrusive and inexpensive and yet highly secure methods of verification - just the market needs that delSecur is chiefly targeting with their device. Is there room for competition? From my experience in sales and marketing and direct knowledge of the computer and security industries, I think the answer is an emphatic "yes". This doesn't mean that success is guaranteed - delSecur will have to more fully prove their product claims before that is the case.

The opportunity is real and the product has tested out well so far. additional field trial units are in production. A confirmation of the product claims in the trials or a production agreement is the next step.
