I don't expect a Global Market Correction, I just think that the market will realise that ASCEND's position recently changed from a solely dominated one, to an extremely competitive one. As an interesting comparison, look at what happened to COMPAQ in 1991/1992 when the PC market started to be extremely competitive. Big plunge: from 21 to 7. COMPAQ recovered a year after. And perhaps ASCEND will recover from its big plunge. I have some doubts. But as management is good and clever, it could find some good niches where to go. As for new products like GRF 400 : Yes its a great product. But this area is already competitive. More of half the telecom industry is betting on IP Switching technology, prepares or has already something to sell. The situation won't be the same as for MAX range in 1995-1996. Just my opinion. As Dee Jay said, numbers will speak.
