Bob - I agree with Uncle Frank - a simple method of setting a filter to skip posts either by poster or those which contain a string like OT in the first line would be a much better way to satisfy those who don't want to see certain types of posts. This would be invaluable on many threads where on-topic but content-free posting is the norm. It is a pretty subtle line to say that the potential for impeachment, which might cause a large swing in Dell's stock price, is off topic, any more than postings of potential acts by greenspan or the health of the asian economy, all of which are equally off topic. Maybe rather than the OT that courteous posters have been including, we should start our off-topic discussions with *'Thread - how do you think this will affect Dell stock?'* followed by a discussion of Thomas Jefferson's morals or whatever. That would be politically correct, I guess. I think you are wading into a real difficult area.
