I don't believe it. This announcement gives me $100 more to spend on Christmas presents! For the first time I actually won a bet! Last night I was having dinner with neighbors who also hold shares of CPQ. I said I expected CPQ to make an announcement that the dividend was being raise to .02 any day. They like to gamble (office football games) and told me to put my money where my mouth was. I said fine, $1.00 (the highest I bet--I'm not a better). They wanted to make it more interesting. We ended up with me getting $100 if CPQ raised the dividend to .02 on or before Dec 14. If I lost, I was going to have to cut (or pay someone to cut) all the 9' lengths of trees they bought last spring when they thought it would be cheaper to cut and split lengths rather than buy a few cords of wood ready for the wood stove. Oh this made my day. Besides the $100 I won, I have enough shares of CPQ that the 1/2 cent per quarter increase makes a difference. Happy as a clam- Lynn
