Mr. Eugene Larabie reports
Labrador International, operator of the Labrador Nickel Syndicate (LNS)
Adlatok River 2 property in South Voisey's Bay, has met with the company's
consulting geologist for a review of the recently completed drill hole
conducted by the company contractor, Donner Mineral.
Preliminary assessment has not yet provided an explanation for the presence
of a strong PEM signature at the drill location, as drilling and down hole
geophysics were unable to replicate the strong surface geophysical
response. As such, Donner Minerals has arranged for the geophysical
contractor to repeat PEM loops on the site of the drill target.
Additionally, Labrador has arranged for conductivity tests to be conducted
on core samples from that portion of the drill hole where disseminated
mineralization was observed. These results will be released after
interpretation.
Drilling revealed the presence of a strong horizontal thrust fault which
may have important implications in terms of future drill targets and
assessment of gabbro sill locations.
Labrador International and the partners of the LNS (Labrador 50 per cent,
Pallaum Minerals 25 per cent, and GlobeNet Minerals 25 per cent) will
review all available data from the South Voisey's Bay camp over the coming
months to prepare exploration plans for the coming season.
